Two Grade 1 Chances on Busy Weekend for ELiTE

Two Elite prominent graduates will line up in Grade 1 events at Keeneland this weekend, including the G1 winning $2.4 million mare Mia Mischief.

Mia Mischief posted an easy comeback win in her five-year-old debut for new owner Stonestreet Farm in an allowance at Oaklawn in February before taking the Carousel Stakes at the same venue. Now Mia Mischief will be taking part in the G1 Madison at Keeneland where she will be looking for a second top level success. She returns to the scene of one of the most outstanding maiden breaking victories in recent memory where she blitzed her foes in the Keeneland slop, winning by nearly 16 1/4 lengths. Now 5, the bay daughter of Into Mischief has had an outstanding career and hopes to add to her successes on Saturday.

On Friday, original Elite graduate Next Shares goes in the Makers 46 Mile and will be looking to complete the Shadwell Mile/Makers 46 Mile double after taking the fall event in 2018. Bought for $190,000 by David Meah, Next Shares has become the Elite poster boy, having amassed over $1.7 million in earnings in his career and will be looking to add to that total tomorrow.
