Proverb, a G3 placed son of Flatter who hammered for $220,000 at Fasig-Tipton July last summer and signed for by David Meah of Meah/Lloyd Bloodstock on behalf of Calvin Nguyen, ran down his competition late to win an allowance at Oaklawn Park over the weekend.
The win brought Proverb’s earnings to $178,420.
