Bellera, who will sell with Elite in November of this year, took her second straight stakes victory with a win in the Ladies Handicap as the “highweight” yesterday at Aqueduct.
The four-year-old daughter of Bernardini previously won the G3 Comely at Aqueduct by an easy 1 3/4 lengths. Bellera represents a top sales prospect, not only with her own resume, but also in the fact that she is by standout broodmare sire Bernardini and is out the Unbridled’s Song mare Habiboo, who has also produced the graded stakes winning Life Imitates Art as well as Quippery, the dam of G3W Beyond Blame. In addition to her produce record, Habiboo is a half-sister to the multiple Grade 1 winning Street Boss.
