SUPERCOMMITTEE, acquired by Meah/Lloyd Bloodstock for $120,000 at Keeneland April, has already won a stake race since her purchase and will now look to add to her resume in the Osunitas Stakes. The 1 1/16 miles turf race goes as Race 7 with a post time of 9:57 PM EST.
In her prior start, she captured he Ginger Punch over the Gulfstream Park dirt, drawing away by five lengths for trainer Robert Falcone, Jr. Now making here first start for trainer Anna Meah, she will break from post position number four under jockey Edwin Maldonado for owners Next Wave Racing, BG Stables and Dario Bernardi.
STRIKE AT DAWN, purchased by River Oak farm at the same sale for $150,000, runs in the 5th race at Del Mar tomorrow, a first level allowance also over 1 1/16 miles on the turf.
