Elite Sales again showed its dominance in the sales arena, leading both sessions in which it sold, selling 6 horses for an average of $135,833 in Book 1, led by the sale of G2W Royal Charlotte who hammered for $400,000 for owners First Row Partners and Parkland Thoroughbreds. Ballykiss, the dam of fellow Elite grad Miss J McKay who sold for $300,000 at Keeneland November, hammered for $180,000 while Pacific Heat brought $150,000 for Peter Eurton.
In Book 2, Elite led again, selling each of its six horses for an average of $70,500, more than double its nearest competitor.
The session was led by Hip 808 Risk Model who sold for $160,000 and was consigned on behalf of Klaravich Stables and trainer Chad Brown.
