Elite Grads – Past and Future – Take Center Stage on Pegasus Day Card

It wouldn’t big a big day if an Elite grad wasn’t running, right?

Next Shares, the Grade 1 winning Elite poster boy is scheduled to line up on Saturday in the G1 Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational, coming into the race on the heels of a victory in the G2 Sebiscuit at Del Mar at the end of November. Sold for $190,000 to David Meah at Keeneland November in 2017, the dark bay gelding has not disappointed connections, wracking up three graded stakes victories and more than $1.6 million in earnings.

Spiced Perfection a multiple Grade 1 winning future Elite graduate lines up in the G2 Inside Information after taking the G3 Go For Wand at Aqueduct last out. Racing under the ownership of Pantofel Stable, Adam Wachtel and Peter Deutsch, Spiced Perfection will be running over the same seven furlong distance of her two Grade 1 wins – the La Brea and the Madison.

Also lining up in the G2 Inside Information is the former Jamie Ness trainee Our Super Freak, who was purchased for $210,000 from Keeneland November last year by LBD Stable after posting career best numbers when winning the Shine Again Stakes at Laurel Park.
