Elite Grads Contest Graded Stakes Races on Both Coasts

Altea, a 2020 Keeneland November graduate who sold for $200,000 in Book 1, makes her debut for new connections in the G3 Robert J. Frankel at Santa Anita on Sunday. Previously owned by Swift Thoroughbreds, Madaket Stables and Doheny Racing Stable and trained by Chad Brown, the five-year-old French-bred mare is now owned by MyRacehorse and trained by Richard Mandella.

Across the country at Laurel Park, 2019 Keeneland November graduate Another Broad runs in the G3 Allaire duPont for Farfellow Farm and trainer Steve Asmussen. Purchased for $340,000 last year during Book 2, Another Broad has run well for her new connections this year, picking up a couple of G2 placings when finishing 3rd in the Fleur de Lis and the Falls City at Churchill Downs.
